Hotel on the Cay

Hotel on the Cay, also known as Protestant Beach Cay, is a little island located off the Christiansted Harbor. I spent the day there and relaxed on the beach and took a refreshing dip in the water to cool off. Being that I do live here I have been here several times. It is such a calm and peaceful vibe with picture worthy views.

If you choose to stay here, you will get the chance to enjoy the tranquility of being on a private island. The beach also has a restaurant and a bar with lounge chairs and cabanas where you can sit, relax, and eat. You can also pay a small fee to take the ferry to and from the little island and get the chance to explore the rest of St. Croix. The small island isn’t to far from town where there are several different shops, jewelry stores (such as Sonya’s and Crucian Gold) and restaurants.
