Buccaneer Resort

The Buccaneer is an upscale beach resort located on the East side of St.Croix. I spent the day at Mermaid Beach with my friend who was visiting from Florida. Mermaid Beach is the main beach on the resort and also one of the most popular. With it’s captivating view, palm trees shading the beach, and clear water, I can see why it would draw in so many people. We had the option of laying out on the lounge chairs or renting a luxury-style Cabana overlooking the amazing view.

While on the beach we enjoyed some amazing food from the Mermaid Restaurant that’s usually open for beach service, lunch, and dinner. Their menu consists of American and Caribbean food with several options for fresh cocktails. There is comfortable outdoor seating where you could enjoy the cool breeze while eating. I definitely enjoyed my time there and will be back for sure. If you’re looking for a luxury place to relax and spend time at the beach, this is the place to be!
