Yoga Found Me..
Yoga found me… it found me at a time when I was looking for something to intertwine healing with a physical practice and connect even deeper spiritually. When I think of yoga, I think of it as a form of healing. It’s a place that reminds me to breathe, slow down, and be present. Giving me the space to clear my mind and be more intentional with my thoughts and choices. I’ve formed a deeper level of self awareness and an even deeper level of focus and concentration both on and off the mat. Staying connected to my mind, body and spirit.
How can I stay balanced in the midst of chaos and confusion? Where am I holding tension when I am uncomfortable or stressed? How can I allow myself the space to receive clarity? How can I remain grounded in the face of discomfort during life challenges? Where can I give myself grace during times of change and growth? Where can I be softer….more compassionate with myself and with others? These are some of the questions I asked myself since starting my yoga practice. See.. Yoga isn’t just a physical exercise, yoga is in the now. It’s in the thoughts that you tell yourself. It’s in every moment of every day. Yoga is for everyone. If you tried yoga and didn’t like it… try it again. I’m sure you’ll love it.
